First printing, near fine cloth hardcover shows bit of jacket residue at front cover near spine, small tape blemish at top of front endpaper and mild age toning to pages, in very good price-clipped dust jacket that shows exposure toning along spine and spine edge of front panel, jacket is cut a 1/4 inch shorter than book, clipped at top and bottom of front flap, alogn with edgewear that includes closed tears and couple of small open chips at fore edge of of front panel and with tape reinforcement at top and bottom edge of jacket reverse. 239 pages with black & whites. Stilla solid copy in jacket of this "..story of a man pursued by a dream, one of America's greatest painters, whose genius only now is beginning to be recognized.
