London : Punch Office, 1883. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. First edition first printing. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards clean with minor bumps to corners, gilt Punch bold. Minor bumping to head and foot of sunned spine, head of spine slightly frayed, title gilt bold. Text block clean, with light toning to edges. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feels lightly read, hinges strong. Contemporary Book plate to front paste down. Very good condition. No jacket. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. Please note : this book is very heavy (1350g) all overseas purchasers will be charged additional shipping. Please contact bookseller for exact price. A very good example of Punch vol84 January to June 1883, with nice crisp pages, with the bookplate of Sir Savile Brinton Crossley Bart. 1st Baron Somerleyton who served as Paymaster General from 1902 to 1905.
