Binding: Good to fair, again this is a well bound book, large at 1.5kg weight and Demy 4to is size so it should be read at a desk with a good flat surface. The text block remains well bound.

Text: Clear of annotation and any previous owners marks, unfortunately a tear to the third page, which is slight and does inhibit any reading of the text.

Overall: Amazing, full of humorous cartoons and rich in history, really is a book that hard to close once open. The main negative point in this volume is the outward condition of the spine, but this is really a slight aesthetic problem as the condition of text block (and the remarkable content) has been well preserved inside these thick covers. Anyone with a sense of humour and interest in political history could be lost for hours in this volume.
