EXTREMELY RARE SIX-PENNY NOVEL BY AUSTRALIAN AUTHOR EFFIE ADELAIDE ROWLANDS AKA MADAME E. MARIA ALBANESI (1859-1936). Published by Holding and Hardingham, London, 1919. 5 1/2 X 8 1/2. Romance. Previously published in 1919 by this same firm under the title "Tony's Wife". Date published and publisher unstated. Ms. Rowlands was a very prolific, popular author during the last half of the 19th Century, penning over 260 titles. This is a rare one and took me an hour to research. Quite the find. Used. Good Condition.
