This work is Gilpin's photographic love letter to the Pueblos of the southwest. Laura Gilpin (1891-1979) attained international recognition as photographer and her images of the Navajo and Pueblo peoples of the four corners area offer an important record of these cultures. Some shelfwear; DJ quite worn around edges and corners, spine repaired with tape, now in mylar. Boards a bit faded, frayed at corners, bumped at head and tail of spine. Previous owner's name on ffep.
