Publication: Public Ledger Sunday Novel Sunday, November 2, 1934 Author: Harold Titus Title: The Man From Yonder Publisher: Philadelphia Inquirer Pages: 20 Format: Newspaper Supplement The Public Ledger was a daily newspaper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, published from March 25, 1836 to January 1942. Its motto was "Virtue Liberty and Independence". For a time, it was Philadelphia's most popular newspaper, but circulation declined in the mid-1930s, and on April 16, 1934, the morning and Sunday editions were merged into The Philadelphia Inquirer. The Sunday Novel was a complete illustrated novel that appeared as an insert in the Sunday edition of the Philadelphia Inquirer that lasted about 10 years. Condition: Very good with light toning.
