This wide ranging manual was aimed at the mother-homemaker (ampliphied by the gift inscription is "I found this helpful, Love Mother.") Recipe contributors are credited. Of interest are the chapters offering advice on hygiene and nutrition to the pregnant woman and for the sick child; offering symptoms and diet for various illnesses and diseases. Promotions of the electronic dishwasher, mixer and pressure cooker are found along with plans for creating a BBQ pit with corresponding recipes. Miller was the Director of the Home Serice Department of the Georgia Branch of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers. Department of Parent-Teacher Associations formed within National Congress in 1907 with Georgia becoming a member in 1926. ; 8vo .
