Gray boards with red overlay on spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine. 298 pp 8vo. The author was a youth when he was taken from Mannheim Germany to the concentration camp at Auschwitz where he eventually escaped and made his way to the US. He went back to Germany in 1946 for the Nuremberg War Crimes Trial as a newspaper correspondent. Since that time he has been fighting for Jewish causes and to keep alive the memories of what happened to those who suffered at the Nazi yoke. A clean very presentable copy.
