Octavo. 231pp., (3)pp., This work was compiled from essays written by attending participants after a symposium was held in Jerusalem under the auspices of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Division of Logic, Methodology, and Philosophy of Science of the International Union of History and Philosophy of Science. Eleven of the best essays were chosen and published here. Bound in blue cloth, spine lettering gilt, near fine save for small previous owner's name plate, in in dust jacket with some toning to spine and a bit of finger soiling.
