*Prodromos -Old gray cover white wraps - S. Fischer, Verlag, Berlin, 1906. No specific Edition stated. - my grammar school German is faded away-Fair to acceptable Condition. Gilt on top edge- almost worn away, edges of pages are fairly well tanned, dark maroon end papers, - covers are dark gray banded with a white not sure what it is? Small split exterior at spine - embossed Insignia and gold almost worn off titling very small ingold on spine a chip of something off the top of the spine-- Corners are bumped in Worn through to the cardboard ...The Binding is actually really solid the book is extremely heavy, the paper - it's printed on has a really heavy cotton quality to it it has an odd deckle Edge page - more irregular or possibly just very well-read , with more chipping on a couple pages. Book was published in 1906. --Prodromos. He dressed unconventionally, had a humongous collection of postcards, & not opposed to alcohol and drugs, and developed his own health theory which he published in Prodromos. Wearing sandals on bare feet, slept with the window open in all weather. Prone to depression & melancholy, & spending quite a bit of his time in asylums, sometimes - being committed...-Altenberg died of pneumonia at the age of 59 in Vienna on January 8, 1919.
