Self-Published.. Very Good+. 1975. Hardcover. 8vo - 23 x 15 cm.; iii - 237 pp. Dr. Kase (1905-1999) bought the Barnet cottage on Brule Lake in Algonquin Park in 1937 and renamed it Pringrove. In this memoir, he tells of his canoe trips in Algonquin starting in 1932 and of his many visitors, including the Grove City College Outing Club. There is a lot of Algonquin Park history here as well as many, many photos of people and places - Mosie LeMab, Jack Luckasavitch, Robert Alrich, lumber camps, saw mills, ranger cabins, Alec Barnet. Inscribed and dated by Kase on front free endpaper. Teal blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine and front board. Very minor shelfwear on boards; a clean, sturdy copy. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted.; Signed by Author .
