London: The Electrician Printing & Publishing Co, 1914. First edition. Hardcover book . Cloth, no dustjacket (as issued?), 13x19cms. 47pp, + fold-out plates, and publisher's adverts. B/w photos in fold-out plates, with circuit diagrams and figures. Telephone sytems connecting subscribers without the aid of an operator, at that time being rapidly developed in the UK: this manual explains the current working for students and engineers. Clean covers with very light edge rubbing, pages clean- just some light handling marks to plates with dust and grime to plate edges where folded; neat name to flyleaf, dated Feb. 1914.
