Illustrator: Illustrated. foreword by Robert Atkinson, preface by author, list of illustrations, bibliography and index. Black-and-white illustrated frontispiece, showing Liverpool Cathedral. The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white line drawings, plans and architectural drawings. 1/4 blue coloured cloth covered back strip with black coloured titles. 3/4 gray coloured boards. Illustrated dustwrapper, showing Angkor Vat at the Marseilles Exhibition, with dark brown coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. A book on architectural drawing, design and composition with numerous examples given. First published in 1924. The book is showing use and age. Softening and rubbing of the backstrip edges with fading also present – commensurate with loss of dustwrapper. Rubbing to the other book edges and the corners are bumped. Light tanning of the text block edges and pages. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Chipping, with noticeable loss to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges, and to the lower right-hand corner of the rear panel – please see photograph. Multiple chips and tears to the dustwrapper edges with very noticeable rubbing of the panels. Seventh Impression. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [4], V - XX, 166, [2] pages,.
