London: Hodder & Stoughton. Hardcover. Very Good. Edmund Dulac. [1913] First trade edition. 4to. Publisher's cream coloured cloth decorated in green and gilt. Light scuffs in some places, spine ends lightly bumped, with light wear to one corner. Front paste-down with a light erasure to one corner, with a previous owner's name and date to the corner of the front endpaper, else unmarked and very clean, save for some light handling or thumbing marks to a couple of pages. With 10 coloured illustrations by Edmund Dulac, including the frontis, each with a captioned tissue guard. Nice, clean copy in a tight and square binding.
