New York: Harper & Brothers, 1893. Book. Near Fine. Cloth. 1st Edition. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. First Edition, Second Printing with the dedication page to his father. 502 pp. and 578 pp. respectively. Navy blue cloth with silver/rust designs to fronts, gilt lettering to fronts and spines. These copies are NEAR FINE. Exteriors are rich. Designs and gilt are bright. Edges with very modest signs of wear. Spines just a touch sun lightened. Inside volume I is a brief gift inscription dated Christmas, 1894. Otherwise unmarked, crisp, and tight with modest/moderate toning. Lovely. .
