Contains 6 black and white illustrated plates by Chris Hammond. Introduction by William Keith Leask. Noticeable cracking to front hinge, exposing netting. Front free endpaper removed with scuffing and minor loss to front pastedown. Mild cracking to gutters, however binding throughout is firm with all pages tightly bound. Faint water staining to frontispiece. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed. Occasional thumb-marking. Small tears to bottom of last page, text remain readable. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Visible tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is slightly darkened. Faint white marks to both boards. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.
