Description:
London: A.H. Bullen, 1904. Containing three of the plays Yeats wrote for the newly-established Irish Literary Theatre (later the Abbey), including "Cathleen ni Houlihan" which was the first production (1904). This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition. [Wade, 68] Light green/gray paper boards with a green linen spine and a paper label. Clean text; 83 pages. There are a few pages to the rear that remain unopened. Bumped corners and rubbing to the head and foot of the spine. The fragile paper label is chipped on one side and the head, but this does not affect readability. A sold copy, containing one of the greatest of Yeats plays. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
