Venice, 1981. May 8th, 1981 circular postcard (a panorama) of Venice, written by Edie Kerouac-Parker (Jack Kerouac's first wife) to Herbert Huncke. In the postmarked, handwritten postcard Edie mentions the "Timothy Leary Agency" and an invitation to speak at the University of Vermont, and asks Huncke if he would be interested in joining her. The postcard is clean and VG+, with a bit of very light creasing, and her handwriting is firm and clear in a strong, eminently legible ink. A nice piece of Kerouac and Herbert Huncke (and even Timothy Leary) ephemera.
