Hardcover bound in quarter tan cloth with grey paper-covered boards and the remains of the original grey dust jacket. Light to moderate wear to the binding. The boards show some browning and foxing, likely from the remains of the dust jacket. The front and rear panels and turn-ins of the jacket remain. The front panel of the jacket has a couple of glass rings as well as a 3 1/2inch tear on the fore edge near the bottom corner. This tear has some old and failed tape repairs and a large accompanying crease. There is also a paper label on the front panel of the jacket from the Medici Society noting this Cloth binding version originally cost 2 Pounds, 12 Shillings, 6 d.
