London: Country Life, 1905. First Edition. Maroon Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Large. N/a. 515pp. 1905. First edition published by the Country Life in original publisher's cloth. Embossed title in gilt to the spine - in black to the front board. Fore-edges rough cut. Numerous plates - all as called for. A very good, clean, tight copy. Former owner's signature and date in ink to the front paste-down. Bumps to the head and tail of the spine and to one corner. A couple of stain marks (silver paint?) around the 'o' of polo to the spine - not heavy. A very good, clean, tight copy of this rare first edition.
