Complete collection of Bryant’s poetical works, beautifully illustrated throughout with 100 engravings from drawings by Birket Foster, Harry Fenn, Alfred Fredericks, et. al. Steel engraved frontispiece portrait plate of the author, with guard tissue. Richly bound in beveled boards with lime green cloth illustrated with a delicate botanical theme in gold and maroon. Decorative end papers, page edges gilt. Lengthy foreword by R.H. Stoddard containing a detailed Bryant biography. Very Good Plus. Clean, crisp, bright, corners sharp, binding tight, sound, and square, edge gilding bright. A beautiful book, published the last year of Bryant’s life.
