Frederick Warne & Co Ltd., 1889. Hardcover. Good. 1889. Reprinted. 630 pages. Fully bound in brown leather with gilt. Rebound with original boards. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. End papers are stained with dust. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Leather peeling with slight loss. Mild crushing to spine ends. Sunning to spine. Gilt lettering is darkened. Surfaces have minor damp and dust stains.

Illustrated with some B&W Full-Page Plates. 632 Pages, 7 1/2" Tall, 630g. Undated Edition, circa 1880s. Some wear to cloth at tips of corners and spine ends with a few tiny bits missing. Spine colour slightly faded (see photos). Hinges cracked. Frontispiece has a very faint brown stain. Pages in very good, clean condition. No inscriptions except an old penciled date on back of frontis. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall

Red slipcase with hinged lid containing six separately paginated volumes with gilt titles to spines. The Oxford Miniature Longfellow. All text block edges gilt. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Slight water staining to all volumes. Gilt is bright. Slipcase has substantial marks, bumped corners and noticeable fraying to joins. Heavily water stained overall. Attached ribbon is fraying.
