This is a handsome, antique copy of the "Poems of EDGAR ALLAN POE." 1882; Thomas Y. Crowell & Co.; New York. The book features a frontispiece portrait of Poe and full-page illustrations; bright gilt page edges on all sides. Also included is a "Memoir of Edgar Allan Poe" and a "Preface to the Poems" written by Poe. There are 48 poems in all, including "THE RAVEN." Beautifully decorated front cover and spine with decorative vignettes before/after most of the poems.
Condition:
Clean front cover and spine; some very light soiling on the back cover; sharp corners; bright gilt on the covers and spine. Tight binding with no cracks. The only condition issue with the book is that the illustrated plate after page 152 is present, but has detached. Bright gilt on all page edges. Clean interior - the pages are in great condition and nearly appear unread.
