Colour illustrated frontispiece, by Jack Harman, who also drew the six black-and-white illustrations within the text. Dull red coloured boards with black coloured illustration of a rearing horse with a young man on board to the front panel., with black coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper, by Jack Harman, with blue, white, yellow and red coloured titles to the front panel with yellow, red and green coloured titles to the backstrip. A Pocomoto adventure. Pocomoto meets a young man who is of gigantic size and hasn't spoken to another person since his parents have died. His friends are the birds and animals who make their home around his cabin, and he has forgotten his name except what he was called by his parents  li'l fella. Pocomoto encourages his new friend to come back with him, but, when a greedy foreman wants to exploit Li'l Fella for his own needs, Pocomoto comes to the conclusion that Li'l Fella needs to go back home for his own safety. Softening and sunning of the backstrip edges with bumping of the book corners. Light tanning and foxing of the textblock edges and age toning and foxing to the pages. Gift inscription to the front paste-down. Offset tanning to the end pages; and, there is quite significant foxing to the first few and last few pages of the book. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and to the backstrip edges. A few tears to the top dustwrapper edge with associated creasing. Rubbing of the panels and there is a little chipping of the fold over creases. The rear panel shows handling marks and some browning. Foxing to the verso. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
