About This Item

Hastings-on-Hudson: the author, 1912. 24p., staplebound pamphlet, neatly ex-library with stamps in blind; faint rubberstamp on cover states "Donated by Barton Warren Evermann." William Lorimer, who represented Illinois, was removed from the Senate in 1912 on charges of corrupting the legislature through practices such as vote-buying. This pamphlet argues that he was targeted by a fraudulent media campaign.
