New York. Winchester Press. 1972. First Edition. Quarto (10 x 8). 127 pp. Foreword by Sparse Grey Hackle. Inscribed and signed by Pete Hidy on the front end paper to Sparse Grey Hackle; the book is also signed "Sparse Grey Hackle / Alfred Miller". This was Sparse’s copy of book, presented to him by Pete in appreciation for writing the book’s Foreword. A beautiful book which captures in color and black and white photos the beauty and majesty of fly fishing, together with quotes from many of angling’s best writers. The book is bound in gray tweed cloth with red titles. Pictorial dust jacket. A damn cool book which nicely connects two of fly fishing’s giants of the sport. A nice book. Fine in a fine dust jacket.. Signed by Author.
