A gay man in 1930s Berlin is captured by the Gestapo and taken to Dachau concentration camp, where he forms a relationship with a fellow prisoner. One of the first major productions to discuss Nazi persecution of homosexuals, adapted for film by Sean Mathias in 1997. 10 x 8 inches. Near Fine.

Playbill program for the original Broadway run of Matin Sherman's play about two gay men falling in love in a Nazi concentration camp. It opened in December 1979 and closed in June 1980. Gere's co-star, the late David Dukes was nominated for Best Featured Actor.
