Boulder, CO: Geolgical Society of America, 2005. Quarto. xi, 881 pages; illustrations (some color). One of the most important and scarce since it was issued in a small print run. The articles by Don L. Anderson in the first section are seminal and essential especially on the history of the plume and plate hypothesis. Also Ocean island basalt geochemistry, continental and oceanic melting anomalies with a large section on planetary volcanism. Issued only in paper this copy is fine and unread without any marks of previous ownership.
