Venezia: Istituto Per L'Enciclopedia Del Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1981. 1st Edition. Blue Cloth. Very Good Plus/Very Good Plus. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Illustrated. Type: Z 746pp. A lovely copy of this first edition (1981) in original slipcase. Illustrated with numerous illustrations - many colour plates tipped onto the illustration pages and numerous b/w illustrations - all being reproductions of artists works. Text in Italian. Bound in bright blue cloth with gilt embossed vignette to the front board and gilt embossed lettering and borders to the spine. There is a light bump to the tail of the spine and a slight rub mark to the head of the spine. Very slight stain mark towards the tail of the spine - barely noticeable. Biro gift inscription to the front end paper dated 1985. Fresh and clean. The slipcase has a colour pictorial onlay to both sides of the slipcase. There are a few rub marks to the panels of the slipcase. A well preserved, lovely copy indeed.
