A superb, tight first edition of this history of the influential early First Reformed Church of Schenectady, first built around 1682. Boldly signed and inscribed on front flyleaf by a later minister of this same church: "December 1965 / With greetings from / this church to Mrs / Frederick Browers / [?] Dykstra / Minister." (Gerald G. Dykstra, 1922-2017, served as senior pastor of this church from 1960 to 1968.).
