Denver, CO; (1983): Old West Publishing Co. Octavo. Revised and expanded edition signed by the author. 227pp.illustrated in color and in black and white and, much longer than the first edition. The Taos Society of Artist was formed in 1915. Taos was the hot spot for new artist in the isolated New Mexico Village. The author had expanded this edition from the smaller 1955 edition. Bound in tan cloth, spine lettering dark blue. A fine bright sharp cornered copy in rubbed pictorial dust jacket with fading to spine.

Fine / near fine. First new revised edition. Originally published in 1955 by the author. The Taos Society was formed in 1915 by 6 artists for the purpose of reaching a larger audience. Although is disbanded in 1927, it created a larger community who, not only came to work, but stayed the rest of their lives. This revised edition is twice a long as the original edition and contains 4 additional chapters. The book is in fine, like new condition. The jacket shows shelf wear, but the corners are square and the pages are clean and unmarked. The jacket is protected in mylar.
