Self-printed softcovers, cover art of Cog Wheel Route RR, center fold crease as issued (minor shelfwear, rubbing, couple very small closed tears), still VG copy. First edition, thus, of this well-illustrated work touting the historic Broadmoor Manitou & Pikes Peak Cog Railway, first built in 1889, and which opened in 1891 under Zalmon G. Simmons. The Pike’s Peak Cog Railway is one of two cog railways in the U.S., and the highest in the World. Worldcat locates 4 copies (SMU, CO, Denver Pub., Wisconsin Hist. Soc.).
