Pictorial cloth a little bumped, rubbed and marked; portion of the bottom edge of the rear cover worn away, with minimal impact on the bottom margin of the last 30 leaves; minor signs of use; a good copy. Two later gelatin silver photographs of Zeiss relevance (but little interest) are mounted on the pastedowns. With the bookplate of Frederick Harwicke Knight (his armorial bookplate captioned 'Hardwicke Albion Press 1975'). Offered together with a related pamphlet, 'Short Suggestions and Tables for the Selection of Anastigmatic Lenses for the Requirements of Amateur and Professional Photographers' (Jena, Zeiss, July 1894; quarto, 16 pages plus the wrappers; signs of use; a good copy).
