About This Item

nd. Poor. One 19 x 26 cm b&w photo on board of matching size. Large 12 cm tear from top, discolouration, chipped bottom right corner.

Probably the steamer "Corona" that operated between Toronto and Niagara between 1896 and 1930. Built by the Bertram Engine and Shipbuilding Company of Toronto in 1895, it could carry as many as 2,000 passengers. Due to the Depression and dwindling passengers, it was scrapped in Buffalo in 1936.
