String tied, brown leather boards with gilt and embossed decorations. Contains 214 gelatin silver black and white or sepia toned photographs measuring between 3" x 2" and 4.5" x 3", some with captions. Bumped and worn edges else near fine with fine photographs.

A collection of photographs of a 1920s-era Gypsy Motorcycle Tour of the the Northeast and Mohawk Trail Hunting Tour. The men are pictured traveling through Canada, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and New York. The photographs often include shots of them posing and riding motorcycles, and various races they attended (Rockingham Speedway, Enfield Hill Climb, Worcester Hill Climb). Often the bike manufacturer's name is captioned below the image ("Harley Davidsons" and "Indian"), and in one case a gentleman's motorcycle is named: "Fatalday." There are also photographs of landscapes and the wide open of road, including Niagara Falls and tornado damages to a small town. Mixed in are a few commercial images, likely acquired on their journey. The album also contains several pages of young woman's graduation from secondary school and a visit to Fort Griswold in Connecticut.

A charming travel album of an East Coast motorcycle tours during the 1920s.
