About This Item

American Book Company, New York, 1868. 6.625" X 4.375" in illustrated boards with a brown cloth spine. One third of the cloth spine has chipped away, both hinges cracking, but intact; Author's name written at top of front cover; faint old writing top of flyleaf: FAIR MINUS. In contrast to the covers, the interior could scarcely be nicer: clean, crisp and fresh-looking. Cute in text engraved illustrations. 112pp. [RARE]. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket.
