Batley,H.R. Robertson, F. Huth. Some pages unopened. Introductory essays and notes by Andrew Lang. Andrew Lang was given access to the original manuscripts and other materials at Abbotsford by the Hon. Mrs. Maxwell Scott of Abbotsford (the great-granddaughter of Sir Walter), so that new points of interest relative to the production of each of the novels could be incorporated into his essays and notes.
