NY. Very Good with no dust jacket; Cloth; Charles Scribner's Sons; 1935; First . Edition. Maroon cloth with gilt titles to spine and front board. Very good, bumping to corners and spine, scattered foxing. Previous owner name in ink on front free end paper and then embossed on half title page, ( Charles Murray Lambert). First edition with the appropriate A on copyright page. 176 pages, slight discolouration to rear end page from a review slip laid - in. The book was later adapted into the film by the same name starring Humphrey Bogart, Bette Davis, and Leslie Howard.; 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall .
