Hardcover. 8vo - 21 x 13 cm.; 153 pp. Green cloth over boards with gilt lettering on the spine. A translation of the Italian "Figura di San Paolo" by Rev. Joseph Barbero SSP which in turn was a translation of the Latin work "Effigies Divi Pauli Sive Vitae Apostolicae" which was revised and edited by Rev. Romualdo Galdos SJ. The final translating and editing for this present work was done by the Daughters of St. Paul. The library markings on the book are a stamp on the front free end paper and attachments on the back free end paper. Previous owner's name on the front free end paper also, otherwise clean with a sound binding. The dust jacket has a paper label taped to the lower spine and shows very mild wear to the edges. .

Antwerp 1657 Iacobum Meursium. 3 works in one volume. In Latin. Large 4to.,( 8), 360pp., (34); (16), 376pp., (44); (4), 336pp., (22), title page vignettes, full embossed vellum with 5 raised spines and two engraved metal clasps. PATPO 1662 is embossed into the pattern on the front board. Monastery Offecenfis 1669 is written in ink on top of half title. VG, light moisture stain inside covers and on initial and final pages. Beautiful example of seventeenth century embossed vellum book in lovely condition.
