Blue cloth covered boards with black lettering/ design to the front and black lettering / tiles to the spine. First Edition with matching dates to title and copyright pages. This copy is VG. Exterior is rich and clean . Edges, spine ends, and tips minimally worn. One "half dime" faded stain to rear board. Minimal rubbing to covers. Inside has pictorial EPs. PO childish small printed name to top FEP, PO armorial BP to FF blank EP. and small bookseller stamp to back bottom paste down ( Beach's Bookshop Indianapolis). Text is unmarked, crisp, and tight, with modest toning. Color illustrations and EPs by Lois Lenski. SCARCE in the FIRST EDITION..
