A special edition not for sale, limited to 1000 copies, The present copy is number 479. 211pp. table of contents and colophon, written in English and Italian with personal recollections of the man by Claudio Abbado, Renata Scotto, and Franco Zeffirelli, illustrated throughout by "real" photographs, single and double paged. This work is a tribute to Pavarotti's accomplishments beginning with his opera debut in La Boheme in 1961. This limited edition was not for sale but given to institutions, opera houses and some of the most prestigious libraries across the country and the world. Bound in black cloth decorated with clover, photographic pastedown of Pavaratti, lettering gilt, spine lettering gilt, housed within cloth covered slipcase. A fine bright copy.
