A key wartime document, containing the proceedings of the founding convention of the Communist Political Association, formed in the wake of the Teheran Conference and the dissolution of the Communist Party, USA under the direction of Earl Browder. In his opening address, Browder famously stated that "...Capitalism and Socialism have begun to find their way to peaceful coexistence and collaboration in the same world" - a sentiment perhaps reinforced by the presence of a U.S. War Bonds advertisement on the rear wrapper of this volume!
