The musical ran two years off-Broadway at Actor's Playhouse then moved to SF & LA. The stars of the Off-Broadway production remain here, Joe Barrett & David Gallegly.

West Hollywood: Christopher Street West, 2009. Pamphlet. 60p., 8.5x11 inches, awards, articles, event calendar, event map, photos, local ads, services and resources, very good event program in stapled glossy black pictorial wraps.

New York: Four Swords, 1972. Newspaper. 24p., folded tabloid newspaper, articles, news, editorials, services and resources, reviews, ads, photos, toning else very good on newsprint. Firefighter's Union rep Michael Maye's physical assault of several gay protesters at a Hilton dinner and the trial that dragged on through the summer, interview with Warhol superstar transgender actress/writer Jackie Curtis. Report on Christopher Street West. Clarke and Nichols were lovers who worked together on this long-running tabloid and several books. Clarke was murdered in Mexico in 1975. The newspaper, with stringers across the country and national distribution, lasted until executive editors Lige Clarke and Jack Nichols resigned after issue 105. While the publishers planned to continue, 105 appears to have been the final issue.

West Hollywood: Data-Boy Instant Press, 1981. Magazine. 99p. & 29p., 7x9.5 inches, LA & SF issues bound dos-a-dos, articles, news, reviews, ads, personals, maps, photos, very good gay men's magazine on newsprint in stapled wraps. Data-Boy Instant Press was a printing house and early computer publishing house with a largely gay clientele and staff. The magazine covered gay interests for all of California and Portland and Washington State. Mostly ads for gay bars, clubs and baths.
