About This Item
Houghton, Osgood, and Company, Boston/The Riverside Press, Cambridge, 1880. Acceptable. 228 p., immaculate and unmarked anywhere--not ex-lib., no former owner's name; engraving "The Apple Orchard" frontis., with tissue guard that is creased but untorn. However, rebinding is in order because both front and back gutters are cracked, the dark green boards with bright gilt lettering and ornamentation, blind stamped designs, is nonetheless badly abraded in spine, with lower portion stripped off.
