Park, President, Geo. W. Park Seed Co. Inc., Introduction by author and pronouncing index. The text is illustrated with numerous colour photographs from the company's archives showing both ornamental plants and vegetables available from the company. Green coloured cloth covered boards with gilt embossed titles to the front panel and backstrip. Photographic dustwrapper with red, blue and yellow coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the backstrip. Colour photograph of author to the rear fold over panel. A book about growing a garden, both vegetables and flowers, from seeds, and more specifically about the company -- Geo. W. Park Seed Co., Inc., and their seed catalogue. A book very specifically designed for the American climate and condition, but can be useful in general terms about conditions needed for various plants and vegetables. Softening and a little rubbing and fading to the backstrip edges and rubbing to the book corners. Light browning to the textblock edges and pages. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. A few close tears to the top dustwrapper edge with creasing. Rubbing to the dustwrapper panels with fading to the backstrip and to the top edge of the rear dustwrapper panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [6 7-364 pages [4],.
