Full-page & textual illustrations in black & white by Robert C. Osborn. Very good in a good dust wrapper. <p>First American edition.<p>Observations on the administrative habits of civil servants and businessman. C. Northcote Parkinson [1909-1993] was a British naval historian and author of some sixty books. His best-seller "Parkinson's Law" was the most famous of these and led to his being considered an important scholar in public administration and management. Parkinson's Law states that work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion.
