Street scenes of Paris with texts by various French poets, reproduced in facsimile in French and typeset in English alongside. The bookplate identifies this copy as having been donated to ICP by "J. Deschin." Jacob Deschin was a well-respected writer on photography who at various times in his long career wrote for Popular Photography--beginning with its first issue in 1937,--Scientific American and Popular Mechanics.
