New York: Random House Copyright is 1941. Tight, un-read, as new copy in like dust jacket that shows a 1/32 inch chip at head of spine, and very slight wear at corners. Jacket is otherwise pristine and now protected in a clear mylar sleeve. A signed sheet of paper reading "Best wishes / Osa Johnson" has been laid in with this book, though was not acquired or originally distributed with this book. The signature sheet is also in fine condition. Ironically, both the book and the signed sheet of paper come from the estate of Osa's second husband Clarke Getts, though through completely different channels. . Signed by Author. First Edition / First Printing. Hard Cover. As New/Very Good+. Illus. by Arthur August Jansson. 4to.
