Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Noticeable tanning to spine and edges. Black and brown marks overall.

Text is clean, binding is in good condition and intact.
Filled with numerous photos and fold out map in rear of text. The author was Director General if the Pan American Union, as well as US minister to Panama from 1904-1905.

Bound in yellow cloth over boards with spine and front cover lettered in black. Rubbing and toning to covers and edges of boards. Bumps to corners. Dust-spotting to edges of text block. Spots of toning to front free endpaper. Pages are clean and unmarked. Binding is sound. Includes scarce customs form from the Panama Rail Road Company/Panama Rail Road Steamship Line.
