The panoramic jacket art is by Native American artist Velino Shije Herrera (Ma Pe Wi). Ma Pe Wi (meaning Oriole), was of the Zia Pueblo. Features 84 figure illustrations, plus a section of black and white plates ( XV numbered plates, printed double sided). Figure illustration numbers 51 and 52 are shown on a large fold-out. These both relate to El Rito de los Frijoles; the top illustration shows an outline map of the entire Northern Cliff; the bottom drawing shows a ground plan of Talus Units. This was originally published in 1938. Some of the changes: the plates which were issued in a rear pocket with the 1938 edition are here augmented and bound in, and the total number of illustrations were increased from 70 to 84.
